The Hubbard Arboretum, located in the southeast part of town a the corner of Lowden and Ash Street, is the work of Hubbard Big Green. The Arboretum is a local showplace featuring native Iowa trees, annual and perennial flowerbeds, and green spaces. Wide and smooth walkways and benches throughout the Arboretum allow visitors to enjoy the area, accommodate people of all ages and abilities, and provide ready access to the Hubbard Care Center. The focal point is the large gazebo in the center.

The Arboretum is available for a variety of uses including senior pictures, reunions, quilt shows, and meetings. To reserve the Arboretum, contact Dennis Winter at 641-864-2443.
